Well, Spring has sprung though out the Great Columbia, SC area and no doubt every other place now warm enough to sustain life. The trees are starting to show genuine signs of life, the grass all across the city is starting to green, the flowers are starting to erupt with every color of the rainbow.

The sight is a spectacle every year and welcome break from the dull browns and gray that seem to haunt our Winters.

So now Spring in full swing can only mean on thing, time to update those listing photos! Even in today's market where many homes for sale are flying off the shelf fast enough to give buyers whiplash, there are some higher priced or more unique homes that remain on the market a little longer. Even a home that was listed just a couple months ago may have had brown grass in the yard at the time, but likely has a lush green yard and blooming flowers now.

The importance of curb appeal is not a foreign concept to most sellers and certainly should be no stranger to the listing agent either. A picture of a home whose yard is bursting with color and life will always catch ones eye better than even the same home in a picture that's mostly brown and dead. So now that mother nature has offered us a helping hand, it's time to look back through those listing photos of the front and back yard to see if we can improve them with some updated photographs.
